Destroyed Meeting Hall and Mosque.  The partially built mosque and village meeting house was badly damaged by a storm and high waves.

Reconstruction Effort.  Phil Hoffman challenged a local businessman to match him dollar-for-dollar to pay for rebuilding the meeting hall.  The total cost was about $500.  A little money goes a long way at the settlement.
